Watertown Regional Medical Center (WRMC) has teamed up with Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo) to provide enhanced orthopaedic and spine care for patients.
WRMC is a joint venture between the Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation and ScionHealth, which has been providing healthcare services for more than 115 years.
Under the partnership, WRMC will use HOPCo’s proven musculoskeletal (MSK) service line transformation platform and evidence-based care protocols.
The healthcare facility will also use HOPCo’s advanced data analytics and digital patient engagement infrastructure to enhance patient care and patient experience.
Watertown Regional Medical Center CEO Richard Keddington said: “Our patients are extremely important to us and we’re excited to partner with HOPCo which has a stellar reputation for improving patient outcomes.
“This partnership will help reinforce WRMC’s status as a premier regional destination for exceptional orthopaedic and spine care. We’re proud we can offer this level of care to our patients and the communities we serve.”
HOPCo offers advanced MSK service line management, and outcomes management solutions, and is the largest MSK value-based care organisation in the US.
Its evidence-based care protocols, data analytics platforms, and clinical outcomes tracking infrastructure will support WRMC’s MSK service line.
Also, the services will enhance the organisation’s reputation as a regional destination for high-quality orthopaedic and spine care.
The partnership represents HOPCo’s latest strategic initiative in its growing Wisconsin platform.
In the last two years, HOPCo partnered with Ascension Florida and Gulf Coast, Pardee UNC Healthcare, Physicians Regional Medical Center, and Memorial Healthcare System.
HOPCo president and chief transformation officer Wael Barsoum said: “Watertown Regional Medical Center has a longstanding reputation for outstanding patient care.
“This partnership will drive a significant transformation in the delivery of orthopaedic and spine care throughout the region, ensuring patients receive the high-level access and quality care they deserve.”
