According to WellSky, early adopters, like Doctor’s Choice Home Care & Hospice, have seen impressive results. The Lufkin, Texas, location reported a 34% increase in home health patient visits per month. Mileage per visit also decreased by 16%.
The solution enables them to visit patients near each other on the same day, reducing time spent on inefficient travel.
The platform offers a centralised view of patient demand, clinician capacity, and schedules across all locations, while also providing clinic-level insights.
This real-time data on staff workload, availability, and location helps scheduling teams identify opportunities for new patient admissions, accelerating care starts.
Additionally, WellSky’s electronic health record system supports advanced staffing decisions. It includes provider license and certification tracking, allowing schedulers to match the right clinicians to specific patient needs.
