Vantiq, a provider of real-time smart applications, has teamed up with Telemedicine Solutions and NTT DATA to launch the Wound AI platform.

Wound AI is an advanced clinical decision support platform designed to advance wound-care treatment.

The platform technology offers real-time decision support that enhances patient outcomes, lowers costs related to wound complications, and boosts operational efficiency.

Wound AI is now available and ready to transform healthcare delivery, Vantiq said.

It was built on Vantiq’s real-time intelligent platform, utilising GenAI to provide accurate wound care recommendations and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven decision support at the point of care.

The application integrates with existing Electronic Health Records (EHR) and is based on a federated AI model that ensures data privacy and security while supporting continuous learning.

In addition, the wound-care platform allows clinicians to classify and stage wounds, and receive personalised treatment recommendations. It also helps perform real-time quality assurance checks across various healthcare facilities.

The Wound AI app leverages NTT DATA’s Smart Management Platform for advanced analytics.

This integration provides a complete suite of AI-enabled decision-support tools that enhance the speed and accuracy of wound assessments, minimise human error, and optimise care delivery.

Vantiq chief health officer Ryan Vega said: “By combining our intelligent platform with Telemedicine Solutions’ wound care expertise and NTT DATA’s data analytics capabilities, we are not only enhancing but reimagining wound care.

“This collaboration exemplifies how advanced GenAI applications are revolutionizing healthcare.”

Telemedicine Solutions is a mobile health technology company dedicated to individuals with chronic conditions.

Its user-friendly apps aim to lower care delivery costs and optimise patient care.

Vantiq develops intelligent applications with its platform for real-time, smart systems. Its low-code environment enables quick creation, deployment, and orchestration of AI-driven systems.

Recently, OPTAC-X, which uses Vantiq’s intelligent platform in its hybrid LTE-global SATCOM telehealth technology, collaborated with Mayo Clinic.

This partnership aims to provide physician guidance to EMS teams using OPTAC-X’s technology, enhancing patient resuscitation efforts for cardiac arrests outside of ambulances and hospitals.
