OneOncology, a physician-led network of oncology practices, has partnered with New York Oncology and Haematology (NYOH) to enhance cancer care in New York’s Capital Region.
The collaboration will leverage OneOncology’s resources to support NYOH’s physician-led care model to improve the delivery of cancer services across Albany and surrounding areas.
Established three decades ago, NYOH has been operating seven clinics in Albany, Amsterdam, Clifton Park, Hudson, and Troy, with 35 physicians and 60 providers.
It was the region’s first provider of cancer care outside a hospital setting, providing a wide range of services.
The services include radiation oncology, surgery, infusion, gynaecological and neurological oncology, advanced medical imaging, pharmacy, subspecialty care, and lab services.
NYOH president Todd Doyle said: “We’re thrilled to join other leading independent oncology practices on the OneOncology platform.
“We’ve provided high-quality and compassionate cancer care in and around Albany for more than 30 years, and our OneOncology partnership will bring us capital, expertise, and proven solutions to grow our practice and continue meeting the needs of our patients and their families.”
Starting in July 2025, NYOH will join the OneOncology platform, maintaining its independence while gaining access to clinical, operational, and technological resources.
The partnership will provide NYOH’s oncologists and haematologists with real-time clinical insights, advanced technological tools, and collaborative research opportunities.
It will also provide solutions to operational challenges to enhance patient-centred cancer care in the Albany region.
NYOH is the 27th practice to join OneOncology since its inception in 2018.
OneOncology has a team of 350 certified nurses, pharmacists, laboratory technologists, radiation therapists, and support staff, handling over 100,000 cancer visits annually.
OneOncology CEO Jeff Patton said: “The physicians at New York Oncology and Haematology are the most trusted names in cancer care in the Albany region, and we are thrilled to welcome them to the OneOncology platform.
“We look forward to working with our new partners to help their practice grow, add services along the continuum of care to their clinics, and continue bringing world-class cancer care to the communities they serve.”
