NorCal Pain Treatment Center has partnered with PatchRx to enhance medication management through remote monitoring and adherence solutions.

The collaboration aims to provide tools that improve medication management and transparency for healthcare providers, supporting better patient outcomes.

Founded in 2019, NorCal Pain Treatment Center operates in California’s Central Valley, with locations in Lodi, Merced, and Turlock.

The organisation employs various strategies to ensure compliance and efficacy.

The partnership with PatchRx introduces a remote monitoring programme to further improve adherence and enable proactive interventions.

NorCal Pain and Treatment Center founder and CEO David Lindenberg said: “At NorCal Pain Treatment Center, we are committed to leveraging innovative solutions to enhance patient care and improve treatment outcomes.

“Partnering with PatchRx allows our providers to monitor medication adherence in real time, ensuring patients receive the full benefits of their prescribed treatments.

“This technology empowers our team to make data-driven decisions, reduce medication-related risks, and provide a higher level of personalised care.

“By integrating PatchRx into our practice, we are not only optimizing patient outcomes but also strengthening the connection between providers and those we serve.”

PatchRx offers remote monitoring and medication adherence solutions through prescription bottle sensors that deliver real-time medication adherence data.

The data provides insights for pain management providers, supporting early intervention and improved patient outcomes.

With three years of experience, PatchRx shows how data integration with practice approaches can enhance adherence and patient well-being.

Its technology includes smart pill-bottle caps and a software platform that provides insights for evaluating treatment effectiveness and preventing adverse outcomes.

The company has improved care outcomes for thousands of patients across the US by aligning prescribed treatments with actual medication-taking behaviours.

PatchRx co-founder and CEO Andrew Aertker said: “The value of our technology and platform is best realized when utilized by providers who emphasize patient-centric, comprehensive care.

“NorCal Pain is a standard bearer in the Central Valley, so we are incredibly honored to partner with their phenomenal team of providers and work side by side to provide the best care for their patient populations.”

In November last year, Custom Health announced a partnership with PatchRx to integrate the latter’s smart pill bottle caps into its medication adherence platform.
