Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) has partnered with TruDoc Healthcare to enhance patient care by expanding the Care Anywhere programme in Saudi Arabia.
The partnership will combine TruDoc Healthcare’s expertise in Hospital at Home and Telehealth services with JHAH’s medical excellence.
Both partners will aim to provide patient-centric healthcare across Saudi Arabia.
The collaboration will offer JHAH patients integrated digital consultations and at-home medical services. It will also simplify healthcare access by delivering care directly to patients’ homes.
JHAH CEO Michael Walsh said: “Our expanded telehealth services, launched in 2023, now offer round-the-clock primary care, eliminating barriers such as travel and wait times, and seamlessly integrating into our patients’ lives.
“With this latest advancement, we are enabling patients to transition from hospital to home while maintaining continuous access to exceptional medical care.”
TruDoc Healthcare has been offering telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and homecare expertise for over a decade in Saudi Arabia.
Its portfolio includes an advanced, doctor-led Command Centre for live patient monitoring and personalised care.
This collaboration introduces connected Hospital at Home services with advanced telemonitoring capabilities.
The hybrid model ensures continuous care, hospital-level precision in a home setting and expanding Telemedicine Services for 24/7 concierge-style access.
Patients can utilise this premium service through referrals from their specialist doctors, enabling early discharge and continued care at home.
The programme aims to provide 8,000 bed days annually and serve thousands of patients, with plans to cover specialities like infectious diseases, cardiology, geriatric care, and long-term care.
This partnership is expected to improve healthcare accessibility and quality of life in Saudi Arabia by lowering hospital admissions and enhancing patient outcomes.
TruDoc Healthcare Saudi Arabia CEO Asad Khan said: “TruDoc Healthcare’s vision is to transcend traditional healthcare paradigms, introducing a sophisticated, patient-first approach.
“Our partnership with JHAH embodies this vision, offering premium Hospital at Home and Telemedicine services that guarantee round-the-clock access to hospital-level care and primary healthcare from the comfort of patients’ homes.”
In July this year, TruDoc Healthcare collaborated with e& enterprise to advance healthcare communications in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
