US-based in-home personal care services provider Help at Home has acquired Florida-based Caregiver Services (CSI) to expand its presence in Florida.

CSI provides high-quality in-home care services for seniors and individuals with disabilities and has been offering vital support services across the state of Florida for four decades.

With the acquisition, Help at Home will be enabled to manage home care services in 49 counties in Florida, with communities comprising Medicaid and private pay populations.

Help at Home will operate branches in West Palm Beach, Palm City, Daytona Beach, Palm Bay, Summerfield, Miami, Coral Springs, Clearwater, Tampa, Fort Meyers, Sarasota and Winter Park.

It will address the needs of seniors and chronic populations in nine of the 11 managed long-term services and support (MLTSS) regions in Florida, said Help at Home.

Help at Home chief operating officer Ray Smithberger said: “We’re excited to bring like-minded organizations together to enhance the value and quality of home care service offerings in Florida.

“Like Help at Home, CSI has a unique culture of caring that’s deeply rooted in its Florida communities and we’re looking forward to working closely with our partners to continue that culture, which we know leads to improved client and caregiver experiences.

“With a great home care organization like CSI, Help at Home is even better positioned to continue advancing the industry as we meet the growing demand for services from seniors and underserved populations who want and deserve to age-in-place in their homes in the state of Florida.”

Help at Home provides in-home, person-centred care services to improve the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities and offers a wide range of personalised support.

The services include assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, along with personal care, medication management, and healthcare coordination.

The company focuses on enhancing the quality of life, promoting independence, and enabling clients to remain comfortably in their homes.

It serves various regions, often working in partnership with Medicaid-managed care programmes, private insurers, and families to provide care personalised to their unique needs.
