GE HealthCare has launched the AltiX AI.i editions for its Mac-Lab, CardioLab, and ComboLab systems, to enhance effectiveness and precision in cardiac procedures.
The AltiX AI.i editions are designed to enhance cardiac catheterisation (cath) lab operations and support complex electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
They introduce features to simplify workflows and improve interoperability while maintaining stringent cybersecurity standards in cardiac care.
GE HealthCare cardiovascular and interventional solutions CEO Jyoti Gera said: “AltiX AI.i is built on more than two decades of experience, leadership and innovation in invasive cardiology to enhance cath labs and EP procedures and empower clinicians to deliver the best possible outcomes.
“By automating routine tasks and streamlining workflow, AltiX AI.i allows clinicians to focus on what truly matters – providing exceptional patient care.”
The AltiX AI.i edition of the Mac-Lab system focuses on optimising workflow in cardiac catheterisation.
It integrates the diastolic pressure ratio (dPR) algorithm, facilitating measurements that assess coronary artery disease severity.
Mac-Lab also offers an optional Cath Lab Command Center with advanced video, layouts, and customised documentation tools for an enhanced user experience.
The AltiX AI.i edition of CardioLab improves signal quality for EP procedures using the Prucka 3 digital amplifier, which reduces noise and maintains high signal fidelity.
It represents GE HealthCare’s collaboration with Volta Medical, for real-time data sharing to support AI-driven assessments of atrial fibrillation drivers.
The ComboLab easily integrates EP and hemodynamic recording into a single system, offering versatility for both cath lab and EP exams.
It combines the features of Mac-Lab and CardioLab, to provide a complete solution for managing various cardiac procedures
Building on its familiar interface and workflow, ComboLab will ease the learning curve and enhance data documentation and exportation at the point of care.
GE HealthCare interventional solutions general manager Arnaud Marie said: “The introduction of AltiX AI.i reinforces our commitment to advancing cardiac care.
“These improved solutions are designed to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, which are crucial for diagnosing and treating various heart conditions.
“This launch is an important step in our ongoing mission to equip healthcare providers with interventional solutions that evolve alongside their needs.”
