Fovia, an advanced visualisation and cloud-based imaging company, has partnered with Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, a provider of medical diagnostic imaging, for enhanced visualisation.
The partnership integrates Fovia’s advanced visualisation technology into Konica Minolta’s cloud-based Exa PACS to offer secure, fast, flexible and scalable 3D visualisation and segmentation functionality.
It brings advanced diagnostic capabilities to more people using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technology, offers clinicians flexibility and provides significant cost management benefits to healthcare organisations.
Fovia said the integration enhances Exa PACS with maximum scalability, power, and versatility.

Both companies have already showcased Fovia’s artificial intelligence (AI) technology, F.A.S.T. aiCockpit, within Konica Minolta’s Exa PACS
This feature allows users to efficiently access, interact with, and modify AI results from linked algorithms and workflows, all in one place.
Fovia business development vice president David Wilkins said: “We are excited to partner with Konica Minolta and thrilled with the direction of their best-in-class Exa PACS Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Diagnostic Zero Footprint (ZFP) technology.
“Exa PACS users benefit from immediate, anytime, anywhere access to advanced 3D visualisation and MPR workflows, streamlining diagnostic efficiency and access.
