Crown Aesthetics, a company under Crown Laboratories, has announced the acquisition of assets and technology from Healeon, a subsidiary of Bimini Health Tech.
Bimini Health Tech is a company in the aesthetics platelet-rich plasma (PRP) sector. Its products are used in regenerative therapies, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery fields.
The company develops, acquires, and markets PRP products for patients and healthcare providers.
The assets and technology acquisition of Healeon is expected to enhance Crown’s position in the PRP sector, particularly with its ProGen PRP Eclipse brand.
ProGen PRP Eclipse is said to be the first PRP brand to qualify and quantify the existence of autologous exosomes in its PRP.
It facilitates rapid entry into new market product developments and secures PRP device access.
Additionally, the business synergy enables Crown to broaden its geographic footprint and diversify its production capabilities, benefiting individuals worldwide.
Crown Aesthetics chief sales officer Mike McKenna said: “This acquisition will further strengthen our partnership with our valued customers across North America.
“This strategic move underscores our commitment to expanding our capabilities and delivering even greater value to our customers and patients.”
Crown Laboratories is a comprehensive skincare company with a range of aesthetic and therapeutic skincare products.
Key aesthetics brands in the firm’s portfolio include SkinPen, BIOJUVE, ProGen PRP Eclipse, Votesse, and MicroPen EVO.
Crown Laboratories CEO Jeff Bedard said: “The acquisition of these assets advances Crown’s position as a leading provider of PRP solutions in the US and allow us to expand our PRP footprint globally.
“As our business evolves, our customers will have access to a comprehensive portfolio of innovative solutions to address their patients’ unique needs, and delivering groundbreaking solutions backed by research and proven performance.”
