Canon Medical Systems USA has launched its AI-powered Automation Platform, designed to optimise clinical workflows and advance decision-making in emergency healthcare.
The platform leverages advanced deep-learning technology to help healthcare providers with patient triage and treatment planning.
Canon’s Automation Platform includes three AI-powered packages, Stroke CT package, Stroke MR package and Chest Pain CT package.
The packages support critical decision-making in a time-sensitive environment.
The Stroke CT package includes mobile applications that allow care teams to stay connected and engage anytime and anywhere.
It offers a simple user experience and delivers fast and accurate clinical insights, enabling emergency and stroke teams to reduce response time for effective stroke treatment.
The Stroke MR package facilitates timely screening and triage of stroke patients, enabling fast and accurate detection of the condition by clinicians.
The Chest Pain CT package detects, and flags suspected pulmonary embolisms and potential aortic dissections, supporting rapid life-saving interventions when needed.
Canon Medical enterprise solutions and HIT business managing director Suresh Narayan said: “Canon Medical’s Automation Platform is designed to help healthcare providers focus on what matters most, patient care, by reducing the burden of routine tasks.
“With AI-powered tools and deep learning technology, we’re making it easier for clinicians to make fast, confident decisions that can profoundly impact patient outcomes.”
According to Canon, all three packages feature a cyber-secure deployment for easy integration into existing workflows and clinical applications customised for emergency needs.
The platform alerts care teams within minutes after a CT scan, and flags critical cases through the Canon Secure Analytics Server, informing urgent situations to the clinicians.
Its Mobile DICOM Viewer provides clinicians with remote access to images and results, allowing them to review critical information from any location.
Also, its unified Mobile App allows users to access images and insights from different clinical AI applications in a single interface, to simplify workflows and enhance efficiency.
Canon said the Automation Platform will deliver advanced AI-based solutions to help healthcare providers address urgent demands and enhance patient outcomes.
