Medication Intelligence solutions provider Bluesight has acquired Sectyr, a compliance and audit management platform, to expand its capabilities.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Sectyr offers software solutions that help healthcare and regulated businesses maintain Continuous Program Compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Its cloud-based platform, SectyrHub, enhances compliance through specialised and configurable software.

It supports HRSA 330 grant programme management, HRSA 340B drug discount programme management, HIPAA risk assessment, license management, accreditation management, and incident management.

This acquisition is expected to enhance Bluesight’s offerings with 340B audit and compliance tools. The move responds to increasing customer demand for these solutions.

By adding Sectyr’s tools, Bluesight will empower healthcare organisations. This expansion enhances medication safety, ensures compliance, and boosts operational efficiency.

In addition, the acquisition will also help the medication Intelligence solutions provider to provide solutions for medication management and compliance in pharmacies.

The customers will gain access to a comprehensive suite of tools for confident 340B programme management, enhancing audit readiness and compliance oversight.

Sectyr founder and CEO James Lawson said: “With this understanding, I founded Sectyr to support pharmacy operations teams with innovative solutions to their compliance problems.

“When seeking partners to accelerate Sectyr’s mission, Bluesight stood out as a leader for over a decade across compliance, operations, and finance. We’re excited to partner with a company that shares our vision and passion for pharmacy compliance.”

This acquisition builds on Bluesight’s ongoing investment in tools that streamline pharmacy workflows. It also improves operational visibility, helping healthcare organisations navigate the complex regulatory landscape more easily.

In August, the company streamlined B2B integration with platform consolidation and Cleo’s blended services.

Bluesight boosted efficiency by replacing multiple in-house integration solutions and vendors with Cleo’s cloud and services.

Bluesight CEO Kevin MacDonald said: “We’ve heard from many of our customers that continued access to the 340B Program is a critical priority, and they invest a significant amount of time and effort in order to remain compliant and maintain access to the programme.

“There’s a clear need for better tools to ensure compliance and conduct audits. Sectyr’s deep expertise in this area made them a natural fit to help us expand our offerings and deliver even more value to our pharmacy customers.”
