US-based digital sleep therapeutics company Somnology has partnered with South Korean conglomerate Samsung to introduce a hybrid sleep care model.
Somnology’s advanced sleep solution combines telehealth services with asynchronous support, providing a personalised and accessible approach to sleep health management.
The collaboration enables the integration of Samsung’s advanced wearable technology with Somnology’s proprietary sleep reports.
It aims to enhance access to critical insights, facilitating timely intervention and reducing the risk of untreated symptoms.
The hybrid model addresses significant gaps in traditional sleep care by leveraging wearable devices, real-time data analysis, and continuous monitoring.
Somnology CEO Melissa Lim said: “Collaborating with Samsung enables us to bring life-changing sleep solutions to millions worldwide.
“By combining Samsung’s global reach with our expertise in sleep health, we’re simplifying the journey toward better sleep.”
Somnology’s comprehensive sleep solution is powered by Samsung’s technology, and the partners introduced the sleepbox at HIMSS 2025.
It combines Somnology’s sleep metrics and AI-powered insights with Samsung’s FDA-cleared sleep apnoea detection algorithm to provide a holistic understanding of sleep health.
The seamless integration with Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem, including the Galaxy Watch 7, enhances user experience.
Telehealth integration allows users to consult with board-certified sleep specialists and receive tailored treatment plans, streamlining the path to better sleep.
Samsung healthcare business development head Julie Fournier said: “At Samsung, we’re dedicated to improving lives through innovative health solutions.
“Our collaboration with Somnology enhances our ability to provide meaningful sleep insights that support optimal health, athletic performance, and quality of life.”
