Certinal eSign, a digital transaction management firm, has expanded its partnership with Bumrungrad International Hospital to enhance patient registration and data management.
This collaboration aims to boost efficiency, improves security, and transforms patient experiences through advanced eSignatures and digital workflows.
Bumrungrad International Hospital, founded in 1980 in Bangkok, Thailand, plans to improve patient experience and streamline operations. The hospital has shifted from paper consent forms to a digital solution.
Certinal eSign supported this transition, enhancing operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and data management.
The digital transaction management company is collaborating with Bumrungrad Hospital to enhance both in-person and online consent signing, with multi-language support.
The user-friendly Certinal APIs integrate with the hospital’s systems, enabling the processing of hundreds of transactions daily.
Certinal CEO Aatish Dedhia said: “Our collaboration with Bumrungrad International Hospital is about more than just digitising signatures, it’s about solving real-world challenges in healthcare.
“Together, we’re addressing workflow inefficiencies, enhancing data security, and ultimately creating a better experience for patients. This partnership marks a key milestone in our mission to drive digital transformation in healthcare.”
Certinal eSign has streamlined patient consent collection processes by leveraging over eight custom workflows for patient consent form signing and integrating with the hospital’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Its API enables in-person signing on hospital tablets and remote signing via email and SMS, with pre-populated patient data for efficient form completion.
The solution enhances data security with features like secure ID uploads, two-factor authentication, camera capture for patient identification, remote witnessing, and automatic data purging.
By digitising 50% of the pre-registration process, Certinal has reduced paper reliance and improved operational efficiency using digital forms and streamlined processes.
Additionally, the cost-effective solution, backed by comprehensive support, has ensured an easy transition during the digitisation.
Bumrungrad Hospital co-CEO Nipat Kulabkaw said: “Integrating Certinal eSign technology aligns with Bumrungrad’s commitment to create seamless, secure, and patient-centred experiences through advanced solutions.
“By digitising our workflows, we simplify the registration process, reduce wait times, and enhance overall patient satisfaction, all core to our mission of delivering world-class healthcare.”
In a separate development, Bumrungrad Hospital has also partnered with Golden Helix, a bioinformatics provider for next-generation sequencing (NGS) and precision medicine, in a multiyear agreement.
This collaboration is expected to advance Bumrungrad’s genomics initiatives, focusing on cancer and hereditary disease diagnostics.
