US-based enterprise software company Infor has integrated its Infor Cloverleaf Platform with NVIDIA’s Holoscan AI platform to enhance medical devices with advanced AI technologies.

Infor Cloverleaf is a healthcare and life sciences data integration solution widely adopted across hospitals and medical research facilities worldwide.

It helps medical device customers integrate and share healthcare data across different systems and platforms, such as electronic health records and medical devices.

NVIDIA Holoscan platform is optimised for real-time AI processing, allowing its customers to harness high-quality data to feed into AI models.

Its real-time AI capabilities enable medical device customers to build agents and applications that help clinicians with real-time insights for pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.

The integration will allow the AI agents to access the latest patient data, imaging, and vitals in real-time, making more precise recommendations, said Infor.

Infor general manager and senior vice president Jeff Mueller said: “Our customers will benefit from cutting-edge AI and deep learning technologies to improve patient care, accelerate research, and enhance operational efficiency.

“Cloverleaf’s ability to scale effortlessly across multiple healthcare systems enables a seamless flow of diverse data, creating a unified platform that ensures all clinical, operational, and administrative information is accessible in real time.

“This interoperability complements NVIDIA Holoscan by feeding it a continuous, structured stream of data for real-time AI-driven analysis, improving both diagnostic accuracy and patient care efficiency.”

NVIDIA Holoscan is advancing the healthcare industry by delivering real-time AI processing to applications, from diagnostic imaging to robotic surgery.

The integration of Cloverleaf with NVIDIA Holoscan is said to help developers build powerful sensor-processing AI applications that can easily integrate with EHR systems.

The AI applications also help leverage patient-specific data, improve patient outcomes, enhance surgical procedures, and reduce administrative burdens.

NVIDIA healthcare/medical business development senior director David Niewolny said: “Seamless connectivity across diverse medical devices and healthcare data systems is crucial to the development and deployment of AI-powered healthcare applications.

“The Infor Cloverleaf integration with NVIDIA Holoscan provides the healthcare and MedTech industries with the ability to leverage a comprehensive and standardised data set to develop real-time AI applications.”
