US-based behavioural health technology solutions provider Kipu Health has acquired Hatch Compliance, a cloud-based provider of compliance management software and services, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition builds on the strong partnership between Kipu and Hatch, initiated two years ago to deliver enhanced operational efficiency, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.
Kipu said the acquisition will enhance its suite of offerings by adding advanced governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) capabilities.
Also, the transaction will empower behavioural health organisations to navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence.
The behavioural health technology company offers solutions that support the entire patient journey, from reaching patients with CRM tools to optimising care delivery through EMR.
The addition of Hatch Compliance further strengthens its goal of providing an advanced platform that can address the diverse needs of behavioural health organisations, said Kipu.
Kipu CEO Carina Edwards said: “At Kipu, we are always seeking new ways to support our customers in delivering exceptional care. The acquisition of Hatch Compliance is a significant step forward in our mission to empower behavioural health organisations.
“By adding Hatch’s compliance expertise with our existing technology platform, we are providing our customers with the most comprehensive solution available, ensuring they can meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance while focusing on what truly matters, patient care.”
Hatch offers compliance management system (CMS) and learning management system (LMS) to meet the standards set by The Joint Commission, CARF, and state regulations.
The compliance firm automates data collection to reduce administrative burden on staff, save time and reduce stress, while improving operational efficiency and outcomes.
In addition, Hatch offers compliance consulting services (CCS) to help treatment facilities navigate through the dynamic regulatory landscape.
Building on its offerings, Hatch established itself as a trusted partner for behavioural health organisations that wish to maintain the highest standards of care and compliance.
By offering Hatch’s GRC solutions, it is now better equipped to help customers navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance, reduce risks, and improve patient outcomes, said Kipu.
Hatch Compliance CEO Mike Lifshotz said: “Joining the Kipu family marks a new chapter for Hatch Compliance. We have always been dedicated to helping behavioural health providers navigate the complexities of compliance.
“With Kipu’s resources and shared vision, we are now positioned to offer even greater value to our customers. Together, we will continue to innovate and provide the tools and support that behavioural health organisations need to thrive in an increasingly regulated environment.”
