Healthcare technology company SEQSTER PDM and PatientsLikeMe (PLM), a platform for integrated patient engagement, activation, and health tracking, have entered a patient data partnership.
The collaboration will use SEQSTER’s advanced operating system and PLM’s patient communities to boost clinical research, improve long-term patient engagement, and streamline clinical trial recruitment.
California-based SEQSTER will act as PLM’s electronic health record (EHR) provider, facilitating patient screening for clinical trials and enhancing the onboarding process to minimise dropout rates.
On the other hand, PLM will allow pharmaceutical companies to sponsor condition-specific communities on its platform. The company will offer patients an expanded array of connected health tools and resources to better manage their health journeys.
Within these communities, SEQSTER’s capabilities will be integrated, providing ongoing surveillance and real-world data (RWD) collection that enriches data depth and quality while boosting patient engagement.
The collaboration will also enhance digital engagement and educational initiatives at critical points in the patient journey, and address patient registry requirements.

The initiative will provide consumers with valuable and convenient care solutions, while also opening opportunities to develop new care delivery models with partners.
